Sweet Camille greeted me at the door, while still in Mom’s arms, on the day I arrived for our session. I immediately knew she was going to be easy to photograph. And to my surprise, she got very shy. So, we started off by photographing big brother Luke to sort of warm her up, and that did the trick! After Luke was finished, Camille was ready for her turn! They were so good and compliant with my requests! Thank you, Funes Family, for a great experience!
It was such an honor for me to photograph my friend, Emily’s, family a few weeks ago. She has 3 adorable little girls, and while we had our hiccups along the way (standing Callie Ann in rocks barefoot-not a good idea!, Lily was tired and wanted to be in her bed – that’s what she told her Mommy after the shoot), we still managed to get some great shots! Thank you, Ingalls family!!
Happy 1st Birthday to Colton! What a fun baby he was to photograph yesterday! We were able to meet up for our session at my dear friend Kelle’s home in beautiful St. Francisville, as it is one of my favorite locations to shoot. (You can see other samples from this location here, here and here.) Beautiful big oak trees, a lake, an old picket fence, an old sugar bowl, precious iron chairs, and tons and tons of open land. In addition to the precious baby and the beautiful backdrop, we also had gorgeous weather – by a photographer’s standards. It was very overcast and looked like it might rain, but that overcast sky just produced the most beautiful diffused light, so it was a win-win-win!

| And the far off gaze – love these serious looks! He looks like he’s looking far into my eyes….errr, my camera. |
Little Luke is finally here, even though he waited until the bitter end to make his appearance! We’re so thankful he’s made it into the world!
