Growing May Flowers {Louisiana Child and Family Photographer}

I had so much fun photographing the May family! Blair and I went to college together, and I was delighted when she asked me to photograph her family, which included her 2 precious little girls and family pet, Maggie! Charlotte and Frances were SO DARN CUTE and so fun to photograph! Although, they were very comfortable being in front of the camera, since Blair photographs and documents their life on a daily basis. She has an adorable blog called Growing May Flowers.

As you can tell from the photographs, these 2 sisters just love each other! Charlotte couldn’t stop posing for the camera, and I couldn’t stop photographing her. And Frances – every time that lip would come out, I had to capture it! LOVE the pouty faces!!! 🙂
Thanks, Blair, for letting me capture this special time in your family’s life!
**Warning – photo-heavy post! 🙂

Baby Blake {Thibodaux Newborn Photographer}

I had the joy and pleasure of photographing little Blake – what a sweet little one! I mean, really, how many newborns do you know that AREN’T sweet?! But, still…he was just a delight! I’ve known Mom, Sheri, since high school, and Dad, Brett, since college – as I always say, I love to photograph clients that I’ve known for a long time.

This session was the first time I used the brown blanket instead of black – I’m really pleased with how it turned out! I just love the texture!
Enjoy your sneak peeks, Sheri!

Anna Ruth {Baton Rouge Newborn Photographer}

What an angel – little Anna Ruth just loved to be snuggled! She didn’t want to sleep the first hour I was there – she wanted to “visit.” Once Mom fed her, she passed out! Don’t you love the little headband I found?? An Etsy find – gotta love Etsy! 🙂 I’m not big on the enormous flowers and bows on babies – or anyone, for that matter! 🙂 So, the delicate nature of this little headband was perfect for little Anna Ruth.

The Toups Family {Baton Rouge Child and Family Photographer}

What a JOY it was for me to photograph for an old college friend, Robin! Her little ones were just adorable – and little Grant was just so good for me! At 2 years old, it’s hard to follow instructions from a stranger with a big black box in front of their face, but he did it…did everything I asked of him. And sweet Annadele with those big blue eyes – to die for!

Thank you, Toups family! I SO enjoyed photographing your family!! 🙂
Note: it was an EXTREMELY windy day!!
