Here they are again – the Smiths! (I guess I should reference them as the Louisville Smiths, since I photograph several other Smith families!)
Well, here it is: the annual fall photo shoot! Anna and I have been prepping for this photo shoot since LAST October…as in October 2008! We work together on how the Christmas card will look and then plan for the shoot around that. Since we wanted to incorporate the red couch again (click HERE to see the red couch in last year’s shoot), we had to do something completely different. I just love the way it turned out with the deep jewel tones in their clothing along with the pop of the red couch and the red brick!
Okay, enough babbling – this post will be long enough! Don’t say I didn’t warn you…
Paige is one of those children that I get to photograph about every year. She is becoming a little lady, no longer a little girl! I love the one I was able to capture with Mom, Sarah.

Happy New Year! I guess I should start off the New Year by posting the last of my sessions from 2008.
This session was with my cousin Carmen and her husband Jon and little boy Ben came to North Carolina to meet us for Thanksgiving! We were able to squeeze in family pics and 1 year pictures for Ben – who shares my birthday! He’s getting so big!! Just look at those beautiful baby blues!
I get the opportunity to photograph this precious family about every 6 months or so. I love being the one to photograph them as they grow and document this precious time in their lives! Thanks, Hodges Family, for trusting me to capture your family year after year!
