Meet Shelby…I can’t believe she is a SENIOR! These kids really do just grow up so fast, don’t they?! (I sound so old saying that!). I don’t do a whole lot of Seniors – no particular reason, I just don’t get the opportunity to photograph them often, so I was very excited about this session…we found a “field” behind her home…it was a subdivision in mid-construction with some really tall overgrown grass! You can’t tell, right?! Then we went to downtown Denham Springs and finally to the bowling alley. Shelby is part of the bowling league with her high school, so it was quite fitting that we capture some shots there.

If you follow my blog, you know I’ve said this before: I find such joy in photographing the children of old high school and college friends! Lisa and I were sorority sisters back in the day. It actually seems like yesterday, but it was over 10 years ago! Eshk! How time flies…

I get the wonderful opportunity to photograph Anthony every October. His birthday is in October, and I’ve been photographing him for 3 years now! Man, how he’s grown just since last year! And this year, he brought some friends along!

The Currie and Toups kids – I have photographed these tots since they were all very little…most since birth! The kids’ Moms are sisters and friends of mine since high school – Ann Marie and I were roommates and sorority sisters in college, too! It’s so neat for me to be able to photograph the kids of high school and college friends – more of those to come! Check out Ann Marie’s blog here!

I have the privilege of photographing the McCurry’s every October when they visit Baton Rouge from Savannah, GA. I just love to see them grow, and I am so honored to capture them every year!
