Temporarily booked

Hi! I’ve been getting many requests for photo shoots now that we are nearing Christmas. I’ve got a lot going on with my day job and moving soon, so I am now temporarily booked until January. I am going to take December off as I did last year. Because it takes a long time for me to edit the photos, I will have to stop taking appts. (THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE MY WEEKEND IN LOUSIVILLE!)

“What does she mean by temporarily booked???”
Well, it basically means that I don’t want to get in over my head! I know that many of you want pictures in time for Christmas, and I want to be able to deliver! 🙂 I am already behind as it is, so I want to stop taking appts., and if I feel that I can add a few more, I will post here when/if I do resume. (IF YOU HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED ME ABOUT PICTURES FOR THIS YEAR, YOU ARE EXCLUDED FROM THIS TEMPORARY PAUSE IN BOOKING. I love beach pictures!

Last weekend, my friend Renee and her husband, Andy, and son, Garrett, went to Orange Beach to take pictures. We had a great time and the good Lord was watching over us because despite a 60% chance of rain, there was not a drop to be found on the beach! Renee really wanted some maternity pictures before her new little one arrives at the beginning of September and since her grandmother lives in Orange Beach, we took the 3 1/2 hr. drive there on Friday and came back on Sunday. I am thrilled with some of the shots that we got. Here are a few of my favorites…I’ll post more later!

Little Laura Jane

What a little Miss Priss!! She was so fun to shoot…after she warmed up a bit! She was having a hard time getting rid of the pacifier…as you can see. But, after a while, she just wanted to come to me! She kept putting her hands up for me to hold her!! So, I would, then I’d put her down…and chase her to get the shots.

Holly and Phil

I shot these last night for a proposal on top of the Shaw Building at Tsunami restaurant. It was so fun to experience this with them! Holly and I work together at Amedisys as well as Iris, who orchestrated the whole thing.
