What have I been doing?!?

I know…I know…it’s been over a month since I’ve posted. I’ve been SUPER busy with work and with photography! I’ve been shooting and editing like crazy…in fact, I have 2 photo shoots tomorrow with a trip to the spa in between! I’ve had a gift certificate for a year to get a massage and I have been waiting for that “perfect day” to use it…yeah, right! If I’m waiting for the perfect day, it’ll never get used. So, I scheduled it for tomorrow and sprinkled some photo shoots around it! So, here is what I’ve been working on…

These 3 little precious pies are 4 year old triplets…Isabella, Caroline, and Grace! These were shot at City Park in New Orleans.

This is Adrienne and Paul…cousins born 5 months apart. I have been taking Adrienne’s pictures since she was just a couple days old and now she is 1 year old!!! 🙂 And, Paul’s eyes!!! To die for…he’s going to be a heartbreaker!

I’ll post more pictures tomorrow…I can hardly keep my eyes open! 🙂

The other Smith family!

I’ve already posted (several months ago) pictures of the Smith kids who belong to my friend Charlotte and her husband Kip. This is a different Smith family…my friend Anna, her husband Kenny, and their kids Harrison, Holden, and Evelyn (Evie). I had so much fun with them! They live in Louisville, KY, and since I was there for work, I was able to stay with them! I got to meet her husband and kids…all precious pies! They were so sweet to welcome me into their home and treat me like family. It was definately a treat to be able to stay in a home and not in a hotel, to be able to visit and catch up with a dear friend rather than sit alone in a hotel room, and to have homemade meals rather than take out or room service! I appreciate it, Smith family! 🙂 So of course in great appreciation for all they did for me, I took their family pictures. (This was more of a treat for me than it was for them!). I was so happy to be able to do this for them!

I also have another dear, sweet friend who lives in Louisville…my Jenny. I got to stay with her too! We had so much fun laughing, catching up, laughing some more, watching American Idol, laughing even more… She and her husband Scott were so sweet to let me stay with them…thank you Godthaabs! They have the most adorable home and I was so happy to see that they still had pictures that I took at their wedding displayed all over their house! Thank you “Katelyn and Rick!”

So, here are some pictures from the photo shoot with the Smith family:

Harrison, 6 years old

Holden, 4 years old

Evie Lou! 18 months old, and a little Priss pot!

Some more of my favs!

Graham – 5 weeks old

Can you believe he’s already 5 weeks??? He’s so sweet, and the other boys just love him! Especially Brooks! Dee Dee made his little outfit that says “Bonne Nuit” which is French for “Good Night!” She made the blanket too, but we had FINALLY gotten him to sleep, so I wasn’t waking him just to get the blanket in the shot!

Papa with his boys!

My new house!

So, I am building a new house. I’m SO excited…it’s moving along so quickly. Since I travel so much, I drive by occasionally to check on things. Well, here is a picture of the house less than 2 weeks ago:

And this is a picture of the house taken yesterday:

I’m so excited, I can hardly stand it! I’ll post more pics at the end of the week. Back to editing!
