I absolutely LOVE to shoot using window light…there are so many ways to play with the light. I just love the way it spills and washes over the faces, or the way it backlights the subject. Here are some of my favorite pictures using window light when taking pictures of the Watson girls! Amelia and Avery – just darling little girls!
Who Dat?! Dat’s Mindy and Stephen – congratulations to the two of you on your engagement and upcoming wedding! They are a precious couple – I would kill to have dimples like Mindy! She used to babysit for my sister and has really bonded with my nephews and loves them like I do – so, of course, we love her!
Since I was in Louisville for work, I was able to capture Grace’s 5 month photographs. She just keeps getting MORE and MORE beautiful!! Really, could her eyes get any bluer and wider?! She is pure yumminess, and I got the chance to babysit her for a few short hours one evening…and she fell asleep in my arms! I was in HEAVEN!! Unfortunately, I was only able to capture those on my cell phone. 🙁
Meet the Cashio kids…David, Bion and Caroline! The focus of the shoot was Caroline, for her 4 year old portraits, but brothers were, of course, included. Can you tell she’s a little ham?! (This family won my auction listing for the Louisiana Arts and Science Museum gala).
A Lee Inc - Those are fantastic! I need help from the master. I reverted back to the point and shoot on the macro shots but for the rest of it all, I need a couple of lessons. I know this camera takes good shots, because there were great pictures of your foot on it when you were setting it up for me! Look forward to seeing you and tapping into the brillance!
