Well, I’m starting to catch up – operative word is “starting!” Now that Whitney’s wedding has come and gone, I feel like I am starting to make progress. Here’s a little of what I’ve been doing.

…and no, there is no baby carriage!! Realizing this post topic can be a little misleading on many levels!

My sweet girlfriends and I went down to South Padre Island, TX for a long weekend…we had such a great time! We all originally met in the summers between our college semesters while working on the Junior Staff at the Cloister resort in Sea Island, GA. “Working” those summers in Georgia was, hands down, one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. (I use the term “working” very lightly – it was hardly work – we basically played on the beach with kids all day). The experiences and memories I have from those days are cherished and treasured. I will never forget those days, but more importantly, I will never forget the friendships I have made from those days. There are a group of us that are still very close, even though geographical distance plays a great role in keeping us apart (from Texas to London!). But, when we get together, whether it be once a year or every other year, we know that we can pick up right where we left off – as though no time has passed at all.

Ashley, these are SO beautiful! Thank you so much for these precious memories of my family. It is so rare for me to ever be in photos with my daughter and hubby, so I will treasure these forever! I can’t believe you got such great images considering the crazy hurricane force winds! LOL! We really appreciate you taking time on your vacation to “work.” Your peek is coming soon! 😉

These are beautiful, AB! You are so talented and we loved meeting Melissa too. What a wonderful weekend that you captured perfectly. Love you…
Baby Emery – what a precious little baby! She was so good and sleeping peacefully when I arrived – until we tried to undress her. She did not like that! She had a hard time sleeping for us and was a little bothered that we were messing with her schedule. I think this image relays how she really felt about me! HA!

I just love popping into your blog from time to time and seeing some of your recent work. And once again, I love everything I see! Especially the little baby giving you the finger! Priceless. Can’t wait to see some pics from your girls’ trip! Keep up the awesome work Ashley Beth! ~Erin Golan
Yep, Paul and Rebecca have become regular clients of mine! This is my 3rd photo shoot with them in their short little lives (only the 2nd for Rebecca!). This time we decided to go to their house – I always love that…it’s a change of scenery for me, and it’s also fun to have children, especially toddlers, in their own environment. They love to show me their rooms, their playsets, and in Paul’s case, he wanted to show me the plants that he and his Mommy bought and planted together. Such cuties – they look just alike – they look just like their Momma!

Karen - Ashley Beth – I LOVE every one of these! They are incredible and how sweet to be able to take your sisters’ engagement photos! You’re right, I totally thought that was you in the first pic!
Dawn Pearcy - perfect as always…
